Marianne
Myers - Cuyahoga Falls Office
...............Registered
Representative/RJFS

When
one spends time with Marianne Myers, it
is obvious that she is extremely knowledgeable
when it comes to managing money. A graduate
of Kent State University with a Bachelors
Degree in Business, Marianne has over 25
years experience in the financial services
industry, which includes two years at Paine
Weber and 23 years at Morgan Stanley/Dean
Witter. She is licensed to advise clients
on the application of a full range of financial
management tools including stocks, bonds,
mutual funds, annuities and life insurance.
According
to Marianne, however, it takes more than
professional knowledge to be a good financial
advisor. “One has to be a good listener,
a very good listener,” she says. “I
want to know as much about my clients as
possible: their needs, goals and aspirations,
the time frame available for achieving these
results, and their comfort level for risk.”
“Once
I know these things, I develop comprehensive
plans with a balance of investments that
help deliver the results my clients expect.
I have tools and products to work with plus
the knowledge of my associates and the excellent
research of Raymond James. But no two plans
are ever alike because no two clients are
ever alike. It is not enough to be right
professionally. We must also be right personally.
What good is a portfolio that is skewed
for faster growth, if it keeps my clients
up at night worrying when the market goes
down?”
The
focus on building lasting relationships
with investors is the big reason Marianne
says she joined The Cavalena Group at Raymond
James. “Before we build a portfolio,
we build the relationship,” she explains.
“The quality of the relationship has
a direct bearing on how well I can do my
job. The most important factor in a relationship
is trust. I earn that trust by listening,
learning and digging deep to plan and make
the right recommendations, but I don’t
move until I know for sure that my client
is ready – until he or she is as convinced
as I am that we are doing the right thing.”
Marianne
is a proud resident of Cuyahoga Falls where
she lives with her husband Tom. She is a
member of the American Turner Club and has
been active in other community organizations.
She enjoys reading, music and spending time
with her family, which includes two grown
sons and five grandchildren.
